Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UNC5A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UNC5A data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher UNC5A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UNC5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
SARC, PRAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where UNC5A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
