Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UNC13C RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UNC13C data layer compared with 13 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher UNC13C RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UNC13C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and ACC show a favorable association.
KIRP, UCS, and THYM are the cancer types where UNC13C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
