Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UHRF1BP1L RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 10 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of UHRF1BP1L’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where UHRF1BP1L RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types UHRF1BP1L is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, THCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where UHRF1BP1L tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
