Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UGT2B28 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UGT2B28 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher UGT2B28 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UGT2B28 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

ESCA, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where UGT2B28 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
