Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UGT1A9 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UGT1A9 data layer compared with 14 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher UGT1A9 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UGT1A9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.
CCRCC are the cancer types where UGT1A9 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
