Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UGP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UGP2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher UGP2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UGP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and OV show a favorable association.

HNSC, GBM, and OV are the cancer types where UGP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
