Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UFL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UFL1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher UFL1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UFL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where UFL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
