Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UCP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UCP3 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher UCP3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UCP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

ESCA, SKCM, and SARC are the cancer types where UCP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
