Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBXN8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UBXN8 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher UBXN8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBXN8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ACC, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where UBXN8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
