Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBTF RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UBTF data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher UBTF RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBTF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and KIRC show a favorable association.

BRCA, ACC, and KIRC are the cancer types where UBTF RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
