Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBQLN2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UBQLN2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher UBQLN2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBQLN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

LSCC, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where UBQLN2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
