Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBOX5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UBOX5 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher UBOX5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBOX5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where UBOX5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
