Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBE4A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UBE4A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher UBE4A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBE4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC, UCEC, and CESC are the cancer types where UBE4A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
