Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBE3D RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UBE3D data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher UBE3D RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBE3D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.
LIHC, KIRC, and READ are the cancer types where UBE3D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
