Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBE2DNL RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of UBE2DNL’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where UBE2DNL RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types UBE2DNL is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRC, THCA, and CHOL are the cancer types where UBE2DNL tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
