Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBE2B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UBE2B data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher UBE2B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBE2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where UBE2B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
