Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBA6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UBA6 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher UBA6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBA6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

COAD, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where UBA6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
