Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, U2AF2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated U2AF2 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher U2AF2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated U2AF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and GBM show a favorable association.

MESO, ACC, and LIHC are the cancer types where U2AF2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
