Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TWNK Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TWNK data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher TWNK Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TWNK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

STAD, BRCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where TWNK Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
