Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TWIST2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TWIST2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher TWIST2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TWIST2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA are the cancer types where TWIST2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
