TUBB4BP3

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TUBB4BP3 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TUBB4BP3’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where TUBB4BP3 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TUBB4BP3 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and BRCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KIRC, BRCA, and BLCA are the cancer types where TUBB4BP3 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
