Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TUBB4B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TUBB4B data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher TUBB4B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TUBB4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.

MESO, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where TUBB4B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
