Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TUBA4B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TUBA4B data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TUBA4B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TUBA4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and PAAD are the cancer types where TUBA4B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
