Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TUBA4A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TUBA4A data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TUBA4A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TUBA4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TUBA4A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
