Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TTF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TTF1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher TTF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TTF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TTF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
