Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TTC9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TTC9 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TTC9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TTC9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, OV, and COAD are the cancer types where TTC9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
