Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TTC33 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TTC33 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TTC33 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TTC33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and MESO show a favorable association.
KIRC, LIHC, and MESO are the cancer types where TTC33 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
