Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TTC30B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TTC30B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where TTC30B RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TTC30B is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, KICH, and BLCA are the cancer types where TTC30B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
