Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TTC16 RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TTC16 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TTC16 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TTC16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, SKCM, and BRCA are the cancer types where TTC16 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
