Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TSTD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TSTD2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher TSTD2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TSTD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, LIHC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TSTD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
