Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TSTD1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TSTD1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher TSTD1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TSTD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, GBM, and PDAC are the cancer types where TSTD1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
