Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TSPAN4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TSPAN4 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TSPAN4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TSPAN4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and BLCA are the cancer types where TSPAN4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
