Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TSPAN33 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TSPAN33 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher TSPAN33 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TSPAN33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD and BLCA are the cancer types where TSPAN33 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
