Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TSPAN31 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TSPAN31 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher TSPAN31 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TSPAN31 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

PDAC, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where TSPAN31 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
