Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TSPAN18 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TSPAN18 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher TSPAN18 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TSPAN18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, COAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where TSPAN18 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
