Across TCGA patient cohorts, TSFM mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 191 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TSFM-associated genes across cancer lineages are LYZL1, RNU1-17P, and RNU6-1066P. Each is linked with TSFM in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TSFM-to-partner and partner-to-TSFM results are reported.
