Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TSC22D2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TSC22D2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher TSC22D2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TSC22D2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and GBM show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where TSC22D2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
