Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRPV2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRPV2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TRPV2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRPV2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where TRPV2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
