Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRPM7 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRPM7 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TRPM7 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRPM7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and GBM are the cancer types where TRPM7 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
