Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRPM2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRPM2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TRPM2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRPM2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LSCC, and GBM are the cancer types where TRPM2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
