Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRPC5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRPC5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher TRPC5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRPC5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.

SCLC, UCEC, and UVM are the cancer types where TRPC5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
