Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TROAP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TROAP data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher TROAP Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TROAP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC show a favorable association.
BRCA, HNSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TROAP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
