Across TCGA patient cohorts, TRO mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 82 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TRO-associated genes across cancer lineages are FASN, FoxM1, and eIF4E. Each is linked with TRO in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TRO-to-partner and partner-to-TRO results are reported.
