Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRMT61B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRMT61B data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TRMT61B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRMT61B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, HNSC, and GBM are the cancer types where TRMT61B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
