Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRMT5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRMT5 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TRMT5 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRMT5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, BLCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where TRMT5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
