Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRMT2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRMT2A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher TRMT2A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRMT2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD and LIHC are the cancer types where TRMT2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
