Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRMT1L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRMT1L data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TRMT1L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRMT1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where TRMT1L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
