Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRMT112P4 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TRMT112P4’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where TRMT112P4 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TRMT112P4 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as CHOL and PAAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, CHOL, and PAAD are the cancer types where TRMT112P4 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
