Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRMT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRMT1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TRMT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRMT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUAD, ACC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TRMT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
