Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRIM8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRIM8 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TRIM8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRIM8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where TRIM8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
